Religion: And Possible Problems With Christianity.

Religion is indeed, a funny word, however, it can best be described as something that gives hope, happiness, and most people something to thrive for. But I do seem to find some things that contradict itself about such religions. If it were not for religion, there would be no "Bad," for religion says what is "Good" and what is "Bad," Thus creating Evil. Although most religions were created for the good of mankind, they are twisted by the believers and are used to justify their wrong doings, such as people saying that must take the life of another, simply because "God told them too," or "Because they did not believe in the same thing, therefore, must have worshiped the devil," or Something of the sort. Also, some parts of the religion as said before, tend to contradict themselves.

One of the religions that does so, is Christianity, and with saying that, The bible, somewhere states that "God is a jealous god" And it so happens to be that Envy is one of the 7 deadly Sins. Envy is defined as: "a feeling of jealous envy (especially of a rival.)" So what we are being told is that one of the Sins, is Envy (Jealousy,) but we're also being told that God is a "Jealous" god, so it seems that he can sin, but if we do it, it is wrong. Another thing that has been stated by "God," is "Thou shalt not kill" yet, it appears that God had taken cities down with his wrath, killing people. Such as the Cities of Sodom and Gomorrah; "The sun had risen upon the earth when Lot entered Zoar. Then the LORD rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, from the LORD out of the heavens. So He overthrew those cities, all the plain, all the inhabitants of the cities, and what grew on the ground.

Now, if one were to die and were to have judgement passed on them, they would be having someone, that sins them self, deciding whether or not one would be going to Heaven for their sins. Which that in itself would make absolutely no sense, seeming how they would be getting judged from a Hypocrite. As well as, one could safely assume that all rules or commandments apply to everyone, however, that apparently is not the case, although this entity known as "God" might have created humankind and the creatures that roam the earth, it somehow gets to completely ignore the rules, as if God were some Dictator.

Another problem with this religion and most, is the issue of sexual orientation, when asked, most people say that it should only be one man, and one woman married to each other, or even be in a relationship. Well, although it says that in the bible, if "God" created Man and Woman only for the sole purpose of being with each other only, then it would have made it impossible for the same gender to fall in "love." Yet, this happens, and when it does since "God" is a loving and forgiving creature, he condemns his own creation to hell for doing what makes them happy, which is what it wanted us "Human Beings" to do.
